Ferrosilicon Nitride Alloying Material

High quality alloying material for transformer steels.

Ferrosilicon nitride NITRO-FESIL® N25 is new material, which designed for alloying by nitrogen a wide range of steels, such as transformer, stainless, structural, etc. Ferrosilicon nitride NITRO-FESIL® N25 is produced by SHS-technology (combustion synthesis) and has unique combination of service properties.
NITRO-FESIL® is compositie material based on beta-silicon nitride (beta-Si3N4). It is synthesized in special reactors under pressure 10 MPa and temperature about 2000 °C. Because of a high combustion temperature, alpha-nitride of silicon is not formed.
NITRO-FESIL ® N25 is produced by nitriding of ferrosilicon 65 % and 75 % alloys. It is characterized by minimum content of oxygen, hydrogen, sulfur and other impurities. Due to the high temperature of the process, the material produced is of high strength.

Ferrosilicon Nitride Refractory Component

High quality refractory material with dominant (90%) beta-phase of silicon nitride for refractory bodies.

Ferrosilicon nitride NITRO-FESIL® N30 designed as a component for refractory production, mainly as a strengthener in tap hole muds and runner clays. NITRO-FESIL® N30 is produced by SHS-technology (combustion synthesis) and has unique combination of service properties.
It is synthesized in special reactors under pressure 10 MPa and temperature about 2000 °C. Ferrosilicon nitride NITRO-FESIL® N30 differs from the traditional «furnace» ferrosilicon nitride in special composition structure based on beta-Si3N4.

Ferrochromium Nitride

High quality alloying material for stainless steels, sintered and melted, for best assimilation.

NTPF ETALON ltd produced high quality ferrochromium nitride FeChN10 by technology of Self-Propagating High-Temperature Synthesis (SHS). It is obtained by nitriding of low carbon ferro-chromium powder under conditions of high pressure (7-9 MPa) and temperature 1700 °C. The simultaneous influence of high pressure and maximum temperature allows forming alloys with a unique set of performance properties. Also, we offered chromium nitrides: regular ChN15 and high purity ElChN15.

Ferrovanadium Nitride FERVANIT®

High quality alloying material with maximum nitrogen content, high density. Melted/sintered.

FERVANIT® is a composition alloy, which produced by nitriding of ferrovanadium powder under high pressure (8MPa) and temperature ~1500 °C. The principal phase of FERVANIT® is vanadium nitride with iron binder. Deep research of SHS-process allowed to get unique alloy. The combination of high density with maximum nitrogen content was first possible in Ferrovanadium nitride FERVANIT®. It is supplied in the lump form and can be loaded both in furnace and in ladle. Our product has low melting point ~1450 oC, high density 6,0-6,5 g/cm3, maximum nitrogen content, absence of open porosity, crashing strength is more than 200 MPa.
At the customers request we can also produced ferrovanadium nitride for cored wire production. In this case high grade ferrovanadium (70-80 % V) is nitriding; during burning synthesis process sintered composition is produced, which after being powdered is used as filling agent in flux cored wire.

Silicon Nitride

High quality silicon nitride for refractories. Dominated beta-phase increase high-temperature durability.

Silicon nitride is a high-tensile compound with high mechanical and physicochemical characteristics. It is widely used in ceramic, cutting tool, metallurgy, refractory materials industry etc. Refractory materials additiezed with silicon nitride possess high thermostability and resistance. Our silicon nitride is produced by combustion synthesis (SHS) under high pressure of nitrogen (up to 20 MPa) and extremal temperature (about 2000 oC), so our product has great advantage - it contains 90% of beta-phase of Si3N4.
Tuyeres

Various types of produced by NTPF Etalon Ltd high-quality tuyeres for metallurgy needs.

Oxygen-konverter tuyere
NTPF Etalon ltd produce tuyeres for metallurgy: 6-nozzled tangential tuyeres for oxygen-refining of steel in the converter, 7-nozzled tuyeres for oxygen-refining of steel in the converter. Tuyere tests demonstrated significant converters capacity increase. It allows to transfer 3 converters shopfloor to 2 converters mode with the same efficiency. Tuyeres give reduction of unevenness of wear on the converter lining.
Blast furnace air tuyeres
NTPF Etalon ltd. produce blast furnace air tuyeres by original technology and by customers draft also. Tuyeres construction is patented and has many advantages, such as reduced mechanical loads thanks to inside taper compensators; Ni3Al based heat-resisting composition to protect thermo-loaded surfaces; double gas supplying mode to stable shift around the tuyere and other.
Tuyeres for iron and steel ladle treatment
NTPF Etalon ltd. produce tuyeres for iron and steel ladle treatment to steel argon blowing to average chemical composition at a steel refining and ladle-furnace units; iron desulphurisation by passivated magnesium injection through nitrogen gas jet; deep desulphurisation by fluidized lime injection at a steel refining and ladle-furnace units.

Jar Mills

Produced by NTPF Etalon Ltd high-quality and simply in use jar mills for milling of various types of materials.

Jar mills VM-200-M and VM-500-M are developed for grinding of different materials while continuous or periodic running. As grinding material can be used ore minerals, building materials, paints, oxides, refractory materials, mixtures etc. Jar mills VM-200-M and VM-500-M are service-strong and easy foruse.
Jar mill VM-200-M consists of two milling drums which are horizontally placed one under another. There is a vibration exciter with water-cooling jacket. Milling drumsand vibration exciter are fixed on two slabs which are located on four flexible supports. The operating mechanism from the motor to the vibration exciter is introduced by elastic coupling. Motor base is fixed to the frame with four pins, which provide the device alignment of the motor and vibration exciter.Each milling drum has drum heads, fixed with through pins and connection clips. Nozzles are fixed to the drum heads, to load and unload the material.

Jar mill VM-500-Mconsists of three heavily fastened grinding drums. There is a vibration exciter with water-cooling jacket under the drums. Grinding drums are located on eight flexible supports. The operating mechanism from the motor to the vibration exciter is introduced by elastic coupling. Motor base is fixed to the frame with four pins, which provide the device alignment of the motor and vibration exciter. Each milling drum has a drum head, fixed with through pins and connection clips.
