A36 is (American Standard) ordinary carbon steel, which is equivalent to Q235.

Steel plates larger than 50mm should be normalized

The grades are: 55 (380) means the tensile strength is greater than 55Ksi, 380MPa, the thickness can reach 305mm, 60 (415) grade 65 (450) grade 70 (485) grade.
