GINGER OIL

Ginger is generally called Ginger root or Jamaica ginger and is scientifically known as Zingiber officinale. It is produced in clusters and belongs to Zingiberaceae family of Zingiberales order. Oil from ginger is extracted from unpeeled and dried rhizomes of ginger by means of steam distillation. Color of this essential oil varies from pale yellow to dark yellow or dark amber. Its consistency ranges from medium to watery and it has strong spicy, sharp and warm odor with hints of lemon and pepper that resembles with actual ginger tang.
