Promoters:
The promoters of the company are members of the Talwar family whose business activities commenced in 1930 in Peshawar, now in Pakistan, under the name and style of Khyber Automobiles as automotive sales and service agents. After the partition of India, the family moved to Lucknow and Kanpur in India and carried on the same business. Soon thereafter, the family commenced business in New Delhi by acquiring Allied Motors Ltd. In 1956, the family setup its first manufacturing facility to produce automotive gaskets in collaboration with Coopers Payen of the UK. Today, the larger family business comprises of several manufacturing and trading companies, producing a vast array of automotive products, mostly in collaboration with world-renowned companies each a leader in its own field.
