Founded in 1925, GASCOGNE PAPER (Ex-Papeteries de Gascogne) is the world's leading producer of natural machine-glazed kraft paper, and a major European producer of Natural Sack kraft paper.
All our papers are made from long, virgin, unbleached natural fibres. This results in high-performance, modern products that are also very environmentally friendly, since they are renewable, biodegradable and recyclable.
The company's integrated paper mill is located in Mimizan, in the Landes region (French south-west area) , and produces pulp and unbleached kraft papers on four paper machines.
Our plant is certified ISO 9001 version 2000 and PEFC (international sustainable forest management) .
Natural kraft paper's unique mechanical strength, flexibility and printability means that it can be used in a very wide range of manufacturing, packaging and wrapping applications.
