Company Introduction

OK Enterprises was established in 1981 when Mr. Keifer, founder and CEO, and Mr. Haines, Executive Vice President, joined forces to manufacture products and provide solutions to both foreign and domestic industries and consumers with an emphasis on the steel and aluminum sectors. As OK Enterprises grew and prospered, a major problem continued to perplex them. In one of the company divisions, pre-casting shapes from refractories required very costly steel molds. These molds were rusting at an alarming rate. Many different rust and corrosion inhibitors were used in an attempt to slow this expensive loss of equipment. Nothing proved satisfactory. By using their knowledge of the industry and combining this with some innovative ideas, they began to develop an anti-corrosion lubricant that would fit their need. Different ingredients and combinations were tried and strictly documented. However, the 18th and 19th attempts were not properly recorded. This was unfortunate because 8 months later the molds treated with the 19th formula were completely rust free. After ten months of hard work, they were able to recreate the 19th formula; hence, it was named X-19A. As they continued to use X-19A and conduct field trials, it became apparent that this product was much more than they had anticipated. This was a product that had enormous marketing potential.
